1) Ice-tempered pure titanium exhibits higher strength and plasticity, as well as superior corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance.
2) Compared to conventional pure titanium, however, ice-tempered pure titanium has lower thermal and electrical conductivity.
3) The manufacturing process for ice-crystal pure titanium is simpler than that of conventional pure titanium, and it can be processed using standard manufacturing methods.
4) Because of its superior ductility, polycrystalline pure titanium can be shaped through processes such as rolling and drawing.
